How Do Data Pools Work?

Data pooling allows you to share the combined data allocation of several SIM pool plans with each other.

Any SIM service that will join a pool must be activated on its own SIM pooling plan.

Each SIM on a pooling plan, once activated, can be assigned to a pool. The data quota of the SIM's plan is then added to the pool as shown.

All services added to the pool can draw down from this combined allocation, allowing individual services to use more than their original contribution.

You can have up to a maximum of 300 services in each pool. Each SIM you intend on adding to the pool must be activated on one of the pooling capable plans.

Setup Your Pooling

First, create your data pool.

Once your pool is created, activate your SIMs on a pooling enabled plan or change the plan of an existing service to a pooling capable plan.

When the SIM activation or plan change is complete, choose Actions corresponding to that service, select Add to Pool and choose the pool you created.

Increasing The Pool's Data

If you need to grow your pool's data allocation, simply upgrade the plan of one or more of the pool's members. Once the upgrade completes, the service's additional quota will be added to the pool.
