Cancelling a SIM Service

You can cancel your SIM service directly through the My Account Portal.

If you are porting out your number, do not cancel your SIM service. Instead, engage your new provider and ask them to initiate the number port.

Once the port has been completed, the SIM service will automatically be cancelled.

Cancelling a SIM service also cancels the SIM card. A new unused SIM (or eSIM) will be required should you need to activate again.

If you wish to retain the number or keep the SIM card, you may instead wish to Change Your SIM Service Plan

The billing period on SIM services runs from the 28th of the month through to the 27th of the next month. Please ensure any cancellations are submitted by the end of the 27th (AEDST) to avoid incurring an additional month's charges.

Any cancellations submitted between the 28th of the month and the 1st of next month will not be processed - you'll instead need to submit these on the 1st if you'd like the service cancelled immediately, or before the end of the 27th if you wish to continue using the service for the month.

Pro-rated refunds (partial month refunds) are not available for SIM services.


To cancel your SIM service, login to the My Account Portal and select SIM Cards on the left menu.

Locate the SIM service you wish to cancel, then from the Actions dropdown choose Cancel Service. You will be asked to confirm the cancellation before it is submitted.
