Adding Favourites to Cloud Softphone

Cloud Softphone's favourites allow you to add other extensions on your PBX, including optional BLF (call state) monitoring, or external numbers you dial frequently.

Accessing Favourites

Open the Cloud Softphone app and select Favourites (iPhone) or the Star Icon (Android).

To dial a contact, tap their icon.

For internal PBX extensions with BLF enabled, you'll also see a small coloured indicator reflecting that contact's availability - grey for available or green for on-call. Red indicates an error, and you'll need to double check their configuration per Adding a PBX Extension below.

Adding a PBX Extension

Tap the +button to create a new contact, then:

  1. Enter their Name
  2. Enter their Full Extension Number (including the prefix). You can get this from the PBX Extensions page in https://my.maxo.com.au/ by hovering over an extension or clicking Edit.
  3. (Optional) Enable BLF - this will add a coloured indicator showing if they're on a call.
  4. Tap the Tick to save the contact.

Adding an External Contact

Tap the + button to create a new contact, then:

  1. Enter their name
  2. Enter their full phone number, including the area code (eg. 0211223344)
  3. Tap the Tick to save the contact

Editing a Contact

Android

Tap the Star tab at the top of the Cloud Softphone app, tap the 3 dots at the top right and choose Edit Mode, then tap the quick dial you wish to change and update the fields as required. Use the trash icon to remove the contact.

iPhone
