Call Steal

Call Steal allows you to take over a call that is either in progress or on-hold on another extension on your PBX.

When you steal a call, it is disconnected from the extension you steal it from and instantly transferred to your phone.

Usage

Simply dial the extension number you wish to steal a call from, prefixed with **.

For example:

**101

Would "steal" a call from extension 101.

Use Cases

This feature is very useful in a number of scenarios:

• You can place a caller on hold, go to another phone - then simply "steal" the call from the previous phone
• Rather than transfer a call or place them in a call parking lot, you can tell someone to "just grab the call from my phone"
