MaxoTel Acquires Zintel Ltd (NZ) and Fonebox Contact Centre from Aussie Broadband Limited for $6.5m

Toowoomba, Australia - Maxo Telecommunications, a leading provider of VoIP and telephony solutions in Australia, announced today that it has acquired Zintel Ltd (NZ) and Fonebox Contact Centre from Aussie Broadband Limited.
Zintel Ltd is a prominent toll-free service provider throughout New Zealand, while Fonebox Contact Centre provides live answer inbound call centre services, based in Brisbane, Australia.

The impact of these acquisitions will further solidify MaxoTel's position as a major player in the VoIP and telephony space in Australia, with a growing presence in New Zealand. A newly forged partnership will enable MaxoTel to leverage Aussie Broadband's recently acquired Tier 1 voice network for wholesale services.

The acquisitions are expected to be completed in two stages in March and April.
